:pointr: :bulletyellow: Strawberry Slice Tutorial 2 (better method) [link] :bulletyellow: :pointl:

-----

Yeah. Well I guess you are now saying "Why the hell does she make a tutorial, she can't even do it properly herself!"
And of course that's just perfectly true.
I just thought some people could receive a general impression when it comes to how to do these slices.
There are indeed many other methods, undoubtedly better and easier than that one.
So for a start, just some little alternatives:

1. If you don't want to do that blending-thing (2-5), you might just make a white roll and cover it with a layer of red and then white clay again.
The blending just looks a bit better, if you do it properly (I obviously didn't...)

2. Instead of taking the red roll, slicing it and putting white layers between the pieces (6-8) you can also just make a long thin role of red clay, fully cover it with rolled out white one, cut it into short pieces and put them together.

3. For the stripes, you might use something like salmon or pink instead of white, that makes it look more realistic. (Thank you, ~llamaer!)

Anyway, hope your slices look better than mine ôo
(I bet they do...-.-)
I only once tried it before making the tutorial, so I'm not yet really good at it. But like I said, I guess you do get the general idea.
I hope someone found this at least a little helpful...Doubt it though...
I should go and practice and then maybe exchange the photos once I got better ones.
...No...To tell the truth...I won't ever do that. Too lazy ._.

Lovely tutorial c:
For the stripes, I'd suggest using pink or salmon; I've tried and white stands out way too much.

Thank you!

Yeah, you're totally right! I've used some pinky-like clay when I first tried these canes, and looking at them now makes me think they sort of looked better xD
